  1. How much does the Exgis Enterprise cost?
    Exgis Enterprise costs $10 per user per month.

  3. Can I try a free trial of the Enterprise edition?
    Absolutely, we offer a 14 day trial of Exgis Enterprise. Signup for the trial today.

  4. My free trial is almost complete. How do I sign up and add additional users to my Exgis account?
    At any time during the trial you can click the “subscribe now” link at the top of the screen. This will allow you to add the number of licenses you wish to purchase for your organization, billing period, and payment information. Once you have completed the payment process, you can assign the licenses to individual users within your company.

  5. I track only expenses and do not need the time module. Can I just use the expense module?
    While Exgis Enterprise comes with both Time and Expenses by default, you can decide what modules you wish to utilize.

  6. What mobile platforms does the Exgis solution work on? What are your plans on releasing it for the iPhone, Android, Symbian etc?
    All Exgis products are available on BlackBerry smartphones and we are currently evaluating for other mobile devices. Vote for the device that you would like us to bring all our Exgis goodness to.

  7. Does Exgis integrate with my office financial systems like Peoplesoft, Great Plains, etc?
    Yes, Exgis has integration tools to allow you to integrate our Time & Expense solution with your back-office finance system (examples include SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, QuickBooks, Great Plains). Depending on your back-office system and implementation some customization work may be required.

  8. I use QuickBooks® for my company. Do you integrate with QuickBooks?
    Exgis provides QuickBooks integration “out of the box” with no customization required. You can export all your records into QuickBooks with a few easy steps.

  9. How do I modify business rules? For example, what happens when the government updates the mileage rate?
    The administrator within your organization has access to update the support tables, including expense types, locations and taxes. When a business rule changes (such as the mileage rate) the administrator can update the rule in the support table and the date the change takes effect. These changes are made available immediately to web users of the system, and are pushed out to all BlackBerry users.

  10. I travel to foreign countries for business. How does the currency conversion work?
    Exgis has a relationship with XE.com who provides us with daily exchange rates for all global currencies. When you enter a foreign expense transaction the amount is converted back to your home currency amount based on the currency exchange rate on the transaction date of the expense.

  11. My company has a special claim statement that I have to submit with my receipts. Can Exgis manage this?
    Absolutely. We can take your organization's Excel timesheet or expense claim statement and incorporate it directly into your account. When you print your timesheet or expense claim statement from Exgis Enterprise it look exactly like your company’s template. There is a $275 fee to do this customization, which is waived if you sign up 10 licenses.

  12. Can I set up employees in my company with different access rights?
    Yes. An administrator can setup the different security profiles for your organization and grant users different access rights.

  13. How many users does this system support?
    The Enterprise version can support the individual user (1), small to medium businesses (1 - 1,000 users), or the large enterprise (over 1,000 users). Because you can access our system through the Internet or BlackBerry smartphone, it is ideal for companies that span multiple locations (different cities or countries).

  14. What type of reports are available?
    Our reporting module allows you to view and report on time and expense data in numerous ways, including detail or summary reports. Broken down by clients and/or project for one employee or the entire organization. We are constantly adding more flexibility to the reports based on your feedback

  15. Can I assign someone else to do my timesheet or expense claim?
    Yes. You can delegate another user in your organization to enter and submit time and expenses on your behalf. Click on the "Options" menu, and Configure link under the Delegation section.

  16. I would like to load the data from Exgis Time and Expense into another system. Do you have a process for this?
    There are currently 2 ways to export data out of Exgis.
    1. Create an Excel report using our reporting module, and import the Excel file into your existing system.
    2. Use our export functionality to output the data in XML format.

  17. Do you have approval workflow?
    Yes, we have mutliple levels of approval workflow for both timesheets and expense claim statements. A company can decide if they wish to implement workflow during initial setup of the system. Our default workflow is to require approval by a manager and a finance representative before a timesheet or expense claim statement can be finalized. You can setup your workflow based on your organization's processes.
